Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.

We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Delivery Schedule All chocolate deliveries will be sent first class using Royal Mail. We endeavour to process all orders as soon as possible and expect all orders to be delivered within 3 - 4 working days (for orders received before 3pm) at a cost of £2.50. Orders received after 3pm on a Friday will not be processed until the following Monday. Post & packing prices are based on orders to UK mainland addresses only.

All orders will be confirmed by email and processed at the point of payment. Cheques will need 5 working days to clear.

In the event there is nobody to take delivery a card will be left providing instructions of where to go to collect the chocolates. The Royal Mail online tracking service will always be used. Please contact us for details and procedures if appropriate.
Please feel free to provide us with a work address if more convenient.

As we use Royal Mail for deliveries we cannot be held responsible for postal strikes, transport strikes and any other scenario outside our control.

We reserve the right to alter our standard delivery times during the summer months to avoid heat damage or during extremely cold conditions during winter months.

We will deliver to the address provided (except PO Box numbers) by the customer and cannot take responsibility for failed delivery as a result of an inaccurate address. A full postcode is always required and the delivery cannot take place without one.
Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Credit Card Security When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Privacy Policy Cheshire Chocolates do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Returns Policy If for any reason you are not entirely satisfied with any product that you have purchased from us, you may return it to us, at your expense, within 7 days from the date of despatch.

Provided it is returned in its original packaging and the product has not been consumed, other than is reasonable to establish the quality of the product you are not happy with, we will refund the entire purchase price including the cost of postage.

If your returned chocolate is damaged, not in the original packaging or consumed more than was reasonable to establish the quality of product, we reserve the right to levy a charge commensurate with that loss.
